THE STORY BEHIND MEMOARA
Why I created Memoara.
It began with my son, a new sense of responsibility and a longing for voices I never had the chance to know.
When my son was born, my life changed. I began to think both ahead and back.
I have no memories of my paternal grandparents. It would have been wonderful to watch a short video of them, hear their voices or listen to them tell a story in their own words.
Parenthood also raised questions that had once felt distant. What would happen if I suddenly became seriously ill or died? Would my family know which important documents existed, which insurance policies they needed to know about and where to begin?
Those thoughts came together as the idea for Memoara: a place for both the practical and the personal. A place to leave clear guidance while preserving stories, experiences, advice, photos and your own voice.
We all carry something worth passing on.It may be a life story, an everyday memory, a piece of advice or a few words for someone we love.
Memoara was created so you can gather what matters at your own pace, stay in control of your content and decide what is shared and with whom.
